Community Grant

With the enthusiasm for community engagement after lockdowns and restrictions, Leopold Playgroup has seen an increasing demand from families to attend our sessions. Our membership base is expanding, and we feel that we need to broaden what we can offer in our sessions to accommodate more people and the diversities that come with that. This means that there are a few layers to the plan we have for Playgroup in 2023. We hope to continue to develop our ‘baby zone’ with the addition of some soft play blocks, create a ‘calm corner’ with a quiet space cubby, noise cancelling headphones, fidget spinners, weighted animals, and pop-its, and cater to our growing attendance numbers with extra tables and another picnic mat.

We have been able to add the following equipment to our collection:

• MTA tables x 2
• MTA bamboo play house
• Soft play
• Noise cancelling head phones
• Fidget spinners and weighted lizard
